Lilith Zaberisk - DEAD
Week 1: Boa knows literally nothing about this girl. She's... around?
Week 2: Lilith killed Pastor Dan and Boa has to admit that was a very crafty solution. Now she's around as a weird semi-conscious zombie and he'd rather she wasn't.
Week 3: Please don't let her cook anything after a murder ever again.
Ichigo Kurosaki
Week 1: A twin, apparently.
Week 2: The trial proved him to be rather self-sacrificial, which seems to be a theme here. He has another personality who calls him 'King' and absolutely won't let him do that shit though. Boa thinks the other personality is the reasonable one.
Week 3: Though Ichigo once again showed himself to be extremely self-sacrificial at the trial, this time Boa sort of gets it. Kon was clearly incredibly important to him.
Week 4: No opinion change.
Week 5: Ichigo shows Boa kindness both early in the week and then again after his confession at the trial. It's late to learn to appreciate him, but Boa does now.
Kon - DEAD
Week 1: A twin, apparently 2 - Electric Bugaloo.
Week 2: Under ordinary circumstances he can see souls? Also his personality is annoying.
Week 3: Kon's entire soul was probably irrevocably destroyed in this trial and even Boa feels a little conflicted about that, but overall he has decided to just now think of Kon again. They weren't close after all.
Week 4: Zombie!Kon acts the same as usual, which is weird considering the soul-stuff. What is going on?
Mitsuru Ashikawa
Week 1: Boa's favourite partner in speculation about this place. Since Mitsuru has experience with magic and magic seems to be involved, Boa trusts his judgement. They're both stubborn and kind of distanced, so talking comes easily.
Week 2: Mitsuru has quickly evolved to Boa's favourite person in camp overall. His resolve, pragmatism and power, as well as his tendency to not get intimidated by anyone, are all admirable qualities to Boa.
Mitsuru is someone Boa definitely wants to keep face for, which is why his presence helps Boa immensely to keep himself together even in the more horrifying situations.
Week 3: When Boa thought he had disgraced himself and was worthy of Mitsuru's disrespect, Mitsuru disproved all of Boa's expectations by being concerned and supportive. Boa can't really say how he feels about that other than intensely. To be seen as valuable by someone he admires so much, even when he makes a mistake that leads to having to be rescued... Boa can't understand it, but he wants to do all he can to keep it.
Week 4: Nothing makes Boa's determination to survive alongside Mitsuru waver. He values the other's company at all times - not only scheming and exchanging information, also free time. They've started doing those things more together. Boa's teaching Mitsuru how to Beyblade, they're learning video games... Mitsuru is starting to really make Boa feel safe.
Week 5: Mitsuru means absolutely everything to Boa. If he could die again, he would die for Mitsuru without question, though more than anything he wishes he could have lived for Mitsuru.
When Boa knew everyone would leave him for what he did to Usagi and for the weakness he displayed, Mitsuru stayed by his side. Boa still can't understand why Mitsuru won't abandon him when he thought so many times that he would... but the feeling of safety it brings him was his greatest comfort in death. Mitsuru is the one person who truly was able to make him believe in second chances, despite the fact that Boa knows he isn't getting his. But if he had lived... Mitsuru would have let him become stronger by his side, despite messing up so badly. When you fall, you get up and try again. With Mitsuru safely by his side, that's not impossible.
Now having understood that Mitsuru feels this way about him, Boa is also ready to accept all of Mitsuru's weaknesses. He is sure they can't ever change what he perceives as so strong about him in the first place.
Leon Kuwata - DEAD
Week 1: Someone who has experienced a killing game before, so that's useful?! Makes it rain bug spray.
Week 2: Started dating because apparently that's his highest priority of things to get done before he dies again. Boa is judging a little.
Week 3: Dead.
Gonta Gokuhara
Week 1: Big. Talks to insects.
Week 2: A friendly giant. He's interested in Beyblading, which earns him a lot of points in Boa's book.
Week 3: Helped save Eddie from the lake cats, this gains him even more points.
Week 4: No opinion change.
Week 5: No opinion change.
Cielo
Week 1: Sits on roofs.
Week 2: He got on Boa's case about his survival ethics, so Boa is annoyed with him.
Week 3: Boa thinks Cielo is way too naive and trusting.
Week 4: No opinion change.
Week 5: Yelled at Mitsuru, which does nothing to raise Boa's opinion on him (even if the yelling wasn't even factually wrong). Cielo claimed they'd not have killed Boa for assaulting Usagi and Boa is calling bullshit.
Chuuta Kokonose
Week 1: A nice kid who's in the same cabin. He figured out the radio that lets them listen to the gunmen, so that's points for usefulness. Also apparently has an alien in his body?!
Week 2: Though Chuuta and Boa had a rather strong disagreement on how to handle being stuck here, overall they're still on good terms. Chuuta gets along with Boa's friends, so Boa doesn't mind hanging out with him. Their argument was loud at breakfast, but Boa carries no grudge about it now.
Week 3: The revelation that the gunners find Chuuta dangerous has tanked Boa's trust and thus liking for him considerably.
Week 4: It's complicated. Boa still doesn't trust Chuuta and this week he felt it more than ever, but at the same time they've started getting along better again in direct interaction.
Week 5: IT'S EVEN MORE COMPLICATED. Boa knows now that Chuuta attacked Mitsuru and it made him angry enough to try and frame Chuuta. On top of that, he knew Chuuta would be an easy target whom people would turn on on the trop of a hat. He was convenient. Yet despite this, Boa doesn't hate Chuuta. He'd have let him die for him but he doesn't hate him and now that he himself is dead, he doesn't even want Chuuta to die at all.
Natsume Sakasaki - DEAD
Week 1: Flashy.
Week 2: Now that Boa has seen Natsume carve a stone out of a corpse's brain without even flinching, he is pretty wary of him.
Week 3: Natsume remained kind of puzzling until his very end.
Shirou Emiya
Week 1: Pragmatic about matters of killing, yet seems to be an idealist. Boa's not sure what to make of him.
Week 2: Shirou turned out to be a very self-sacrificial person. Boa can respect the resolve it takes to offer your life for someone else, but he also just doesn't relate at all.
Week 3: His near-comical devotion to a clean kitchen is almost endearing.
Week 4: Boa was very ready to accuse him of murder and he was also wrong about that, so that adds a minimal level of awkward.
Week 5: Shirou was very ready to execute Boa, which Boa cannot blame him for, so that's fine.
Nine
Week 1: Cabinmate who seems older. Kinda weird?
Week 2: A good fighter. Thinking isn't his strong suit, but he doesn't lack for initiative. Boa has found that talking to Nine comes very easily and he appreciates bumping ideas off him, even if he doesn't think Nine has the best input of all.
Week 3: Nine has become important to Boa without Boa even noticing. Just by being constantly around and loyal as well as fun to talk to, he's become one of the people Boa wants to see dead the least. He's the only one allowed to ruffle Boa's hair and get away with it.
Week 4: Boa consciously knows now that there is no way he'll let anything happen to Nine if he can help it.
Week 5: Nine called him family and it made Boa understand what family is meant to feel like for the first time. He knows Nine would die for him and he knows how much that thought hurts him... Boa really wishes he could undo Nine's pain for him now.
Talcott Hester - DEAD
Week 1: Nice and can cook fish. Boa's still kind of weirded out by his whole freak-out with regards to the sun, but he's getting over it.
Week 2: Boa has concluded that Talcott is a sentimental idiot. He's gotten himself poisoned eating random plants and it doesn't exactly raise his reliability scale. He's also started a project to make sure everyone's relatives would be contacted about their deaths and that's just... way too sappy. Yet his unexpected hug and compassion have left Boa a little confused and unsettled.
Week 3: Talcott killed and Boa really can't blame him for it. Thinking about him now just leaves Boa feelings a little numb.
Week 4: No opinion change.
Week 5: That whole thing where Tal's zombie body smashed Boa's eye while Boa was still alive? Yeah that's going to make dealing with Tal a bit difficult.
Lenka Utsugi
Week 1: Inadvertedly came up with the perfect way to describe a Beyblade without arising weird looks, which makes Boa like him. Kind of impulsive when those he cares about are concerned.
Week 2: Apparently Lenka doesn't have long to live anymore, so he's also one of the self-sacrificial people. Boa finds himself alienated by these priorities, but he did still respect Lenka until he completely fucked up the RV mission and caused Boa the biggest fright of his life with it.
Week 3: Feelings for Lenka stay complicated. This week, Lenka saved Boa's life, which undid a lot of the relationship damage last week's RV mission did. Boa thinks Lenka is a strange person, but he doesn't dislike him. He may be a bit miffed at him telling Mitsuru about his run-in with the lake cat though.
Week 4: Lenka is fun to hang out with, so Boa is starting to forgive the whole moose-park-disaster. Maybe.
Week 5: Boa has begun to really trust Lenka again though in the grand scheme of his death, Lenka wasn't exactly on his side. Boa still hopes he survives the camp though.
Soma Schicksal - DEAD
Week 1: Soma was one of the first people Boa spoke to and it was in conversation with Soma that he understood that they all come from different worlds and timelines. Though Boa didn't have personal attachment to Soma yet, thinking of his death always makes him feel sick.
Eddie Kaspbrak
Week 1: Boa finds Eddie's sickly nature weird and unrelatable, yet it turns out he can talk to the other boy quite well. He thinks Eddie is remarkably naive overall. If he was more preachy about this, Boa might dislike him, but as is he just feels a weird sense of dread at the strong suspicion that Eddie isn't going to make it.
Week 2: Now that Eddie and Richie remember their fight against IT, Boa has a harder time discrediting their points of view. Though he still thinks of Eddie as over-all weak, his respect has risen. He now actively hopes that Eddie is not going to die. Spending time with the other boy is, against all odds, kind of fun.
Week 3: Eddie is Boa's friend and the events with the lake kitten this week proved very conclusively how far Boa is willing to go to save him. Having friends is a strange experience for Boa still, but Eddie has a way of making it easy to be comforted by it.
Week 4: Eddie is growing stronger and Boa is watching is with enthusiasm. He's getting more confident that his friend can survive and he also knows that he'll do anything to ensure that holds true.
Week 5: Eddie wanted to believe in Boa until the end and that hurts Boa badly. Knowing he betrayed what Eddie thought of him is one thing, but seeing Eddie cling onto it so desperately truly broke him. Eddie was a comforting presence and being with him gave Boa a taste of true happiness and friendship. Boa knows he will miss it forever and ever and ever. In the depth of his heart he hopes Eddie doesn't hate him quite as badly as Richie does, but he's not sure if that is realistic. Boa would risk everything he still has as a soul to make sure Eddie survives camp.
Richie Tozier
Week 1: Eddie's friend who is far less timid. Boa thinks he seems like a pretty ordinary kid, which isn't really a bad thing. If he gets the chance, he'll show Richie beyblading.
Week 2: Feelings towards Richie turned complicated pretty damn quickly. Richie is the first person who truly got through to Boa with explaining the urgency of trust and it's left him deeply unsettled. Though Boa has made a promise to try trusting Richie, he's not sure how far he can take that. What he does know is that he doesn't want Richie to die.
Week 3: Boa has officially declared that he will ally with Richie and Eddie. Seeing Richie get angry at Talcott during the trial hurt him in a way that he didn't expect to be heard and lead him into clarifying his position to the other. Now they are friends who know clearly where the other stands. Richie means a lot to Boa.
Week 4: Richie's potty mouth regularly causes Boa distress, but the fact that this happens so often now just shows how close they have gotten. If at all possible, Boa wants to visit Richie's world after all of this is over. It's a good thought to hold onto.
Week 5: Richie hates Boa now, but Boa has not stopped caring about Richie. Betraying their friendship is one of the worst things about the whole killing-and-dying thing. Richie made Boa feel like an actual normal child and taste a bit of happiness that Boa didn't even know he was capable of feeling. Even if he had lived, Boa knows he'd never have gotten something this happy back again. Though he doesn't know how he could face Richie ever again, if he could, Boa would risk everything to help him survive the camp.
Sayama Mikoto - DEAD
Week 1: Though they share a cabin, Boa can't make heads or tails out of him. Definitely a prankster, but with an interest in seriously figuring this place out?
Week 2: Boa witnessed Sayama being pulled out of the cabin by a moose, so his primary question is 'why?'.
Week 3: Sayama is back as a zombie and Boa would prefer not to share a cabin with him, but oh well.
Mitsuru Kirijo
Week 1: An older girl who can.. heal? With a gun...? Boa's not really clear on anything here.
Week 2: No considerable opinion change, despite a short talk about sports.
Week 3: One of the more organized people in trying to gather info on this place, which makes Boa grateful for her presence.
Week 4: She continues to slowly gain respect via her continued competence.
Week 5: No opinion change.
Kanji Tatsumi - DEAD
Week 1: An older boy Boa doesn't know much about.
Week 2: /
Week 3: Kanji is astoundingly passionate about octopus care despite knowing nothing about it? Not a bad guy though.
Week 4: He died just as Boa was beginning to warm up to him. Now most of what he thinks of Kanji is 'well, he was really important to Richie' though.
Ren Amamiya
Week 1: An idealist who protected Boa out in the woods. Though Boa thinks this was foolish and unreasonable, he is silently very grateful for Ren's help.
Week 2: Boa and Ren drifted part and now Boa mostly thinks of him as one of Talcott's maybe-boyfriends.
Week 3: Ren is turning out to be way too unstable - he tried setting the time out shack on fire in a fit of emotion and that's not a good look in Boa's eyes.
Week 4: Made out with a raccoon?! Maybe twice?!
Week 5: Ren totally tanked Boa's opinion on him via running off to investigate the stone god without truly consulting any of them beforehand.
Usagi Tsukino - DEAD
Week 1: .........transforms?!
Week 2: Usagi has turned out to be the antithesis of everything Boa believes. She wants to care about everyone and sacrifice herself for anyone - Boa finds her foolish and meddlesome and he hates that she acts as if she cares about him despite not knowing him at all and heavily condemning him earlier in the week. If he could, he'd love to never speak to her again.
Week 3: Boa's opinion of Usagi remains abysmal.
Week 4: More and more Boa wonders if Usagi was right about him in some aspects, but that just makes him angrier.
Week 5: It's not strictly speaking Usagi's fault that Boa murdered her, but he's still blaming her for his own death. Uh. It's easier than feeling guilty about it, probably?
Floe
Week 1: Her world has way too many terms Boa has never heard of.
Week 2: Floe gains a lot of sympathy points by relating to the frustration of being mocked for a self-explanatory part of your world. Boa still thinks she's too idealistic though.
Week 3: Apparently not that bad at those RV missions.
Week 4: They should keep an eye on her emotional stability, after Lance died.
Week 5: No opinion change.
Marisa Kirisame
Week 1: She can fly and Boa is kind of jealous of that ability.
Week 2: /
Week 3: Part of the successful RV mission, which raises Boa's respect for her.
Week 4: WHY IS EVERYONE IN THIS CAMP SO HORNY.
Week 5: No opinion change.
Clarke Griffin - DEAD
Week 1: From an apocalyptic world. What a first thing to learn about someone, huh?
Week 2: /
Week 3: Very confident she'll return to her world. Boa appreciates that thinking. He'd have appreciated it more if Clarke hadn't pretty much died right after though.
Lance - DEAD
Week 1: Kind of ridiculous, but he pilots a kind of space-ship and Boa is very curious about that.
Week 2: /
Week 3: He won't stop giving Boa nicknames and slandering Beyblades, which marks him a serious nuisance by now.
Week 4: Lance and Boa had a bit of bonding over food and Boa learned details about Lance's world that made him think better of him. When Lance got executed after that, Boa liked him enough to try and cheer him up a bit. Though they had a rocky relation over the first weeks, they made their peace now.
Mami Tomoe - DEAD
Week 1: A girl with an interesting hairdo.
Week 2: Started dating apparently. Weird priorities.
Week 3: Dead.
Chloe Bourgeois - DEAD
Week 1: This has to be what they mean when they call someone a city girl. Chloe feels like she came straight from a TV soap.
Week 2: Boa has no idea how to feel about someone who turned into a lemon to shoot people.
