Week 1 - Thursday Night - Cabin 3 Slumber-Party?!

[ We're all sick, we're all afraid. The last part is debatable. ]

((Cabinmate mingle for the pre-murder night. Since we're all in the same cabin, threadjacking and just general messy posting is encouraged unless a different pref is stated in a thread header.

I put two headers, one for pre-10pm sickness misery and one for 10pm when we all miracle heal, because I think it'd be difficult to decide 'now is the time' unanimously in ongoing threads between 8 people.))

[ Boa completely wore himself out in Flag Tag yesterday, so today he faces the consequences of his actions and stays in bed, just observing what Nine is doing. ]

Is this really.. indoors kind of training?

[ With the sickness holding them all down and the threat of forced murder in the air, one can't help but jump to conclusions. ]

[ Between the whole Soma dying and one bunk not being filled. ]

[ It's why Boa's been running so much the last few days before... falling even more miserably ill today.

But you know, Nine has a point, movement is good and Boa will never admit to being physically incapable of anything, so he slowly crawls out of bed. ]

[ The foam beans fall out as he pulls his spear back. He starts to offer it over, and then snorts as he realizes it might be to tall for him. ]

Think you can actually handle it?

[ It probably means he doesn't have plans on killing everyone in the cabin if he's handing his weapon over, right? ]

[ Look, just because you're a whole 43cm taller than Boa doesn't mean he's too weak to handle your weapon. This is not at all the logical inference here!

Which is why Boa gives the spear (that is definitely longer than he is tall) a skeptical glance then nods. ]

Why not? I train, you know.

[ And to give him credit, he doesn't seem to have too much trouble just... holding it. Hm. ]

[ You're almost at his chest height, dude. ]

What do you normally train with?

[ He'll step back to let him at the bean bag. Crossing his arms as he watches. ]

Different things.. I lived in a facility full of training machines. Running, weight lifting, braces that make moving harder.... We trained power, stamina and precision in a lot of ways.

[ And he'd be able to demonstrate it more elegantly if he wasn't so fucking sick.

Nevertheless, he tries gripping the spear towards its rear end, which causes a comical tip of balance where Boa has to try hard to keep the actual spear-tip horizontal. Then he hurls it at the bean bag and it....... well. It sticks there. Generally. Not very deeply and thus the back of the spear just kind of pathetically rests on the floor, but an effort was made. ]

...ugh.

Hey, that's not bad. Small>[ Nine does sound impressed. He'll make his spear vanish and then bring his arms up and folded to hold something... the spear reappears across his shoulders and the back of his neck. ]

I can't wait for whatever the hell this is to stop.

[ Tipping the spear back so it'll slide down to his side and catching it. Then hitting the butt of it against the ground for balance. He's not used to being sick and it sucks :( ]

[ The vanishing and reappearing of the spear gets a short impressed look. Boa's not really used to these things yet. It's really cool though. ]

... depends on someone making it stop, I guess.

Do you actually buy it? That voice talking about people needing to take a life.

[ He isn't sure he really buys it. Besides, he doesn't like listening to just anyone. ]

It seems pretty dumb to me.

I don't fully believe it, but the longer this goes on the less I see what else it could be... Bringing us here to just let us die of disease instantly seems pointless.

[ Which only means they have to be very confident that someone will kill. ]

Wonder why it's so important to make us pick each other off. Doesn't make sense without some kind of gain, yo.

[ Or maybe they are all just losing it. ]

We've been thinking it might be some kind of experiment.

I can't think of a reason other than to test the strength of different abilities and physical conditions though... A battle royale to get the strongest survivor. But why...?

[ Though logically he knows sometimes the answer for creators of these things is just 'why not'? ]

That sounds like a lot like Agito to me. Just without the killing each other part.

Where I'm from, the strongest are chosen to wear a mask and get a new name. It's what we are all aiming to become.

[ That's actually a pretty good question for his current state of existence. ]

The previous strongest were all beaten and relieved of their post a little while ago and since then I've definitely obtained a higher rank, but... well, I got here before anything official ever got settled.

[ IS he technically a mask now? Wow, this is a question he should ask himself. ]
